Child Safety Standards

Prohibited content and conduct

Users must not use the service to create, upload, post, store, share, request, promote, facilitate or direct others to content or conduct involving the sexual abuse or exploitation of a child.

How to report a child-safety concern

If you encounter content, conduct or an account that may violate these standards, report it to the Tamil Nadu State Centre as soon as possible using the contact details below. Include enough information for us to locate the relevant account, event, page, post or interaction.

If a child appears to be in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency or law-enforcement authority without waiting for a platform response.

Review, moderation and enforcement

When we obtain actual knowledge of a potential CSAE or CSAM violation, authorised administrators may review the report, preserve only the information reasonably necessary for handling the incident, restrict access to affected content or accounts, remove prohibited material, and take other appropriate action under our policies and applicable law.

Depending on the seriousness and available evidence, enforcement may include content removal, account restriction or suspension, loss of access to community features, permanent account termination, and referral to appropriate authorities.

We may also take reasonable steps to prevent repeated misuse, including restricting repeat offenders and improving moderation controls.

CSAM handling

CSAM is not permitted on the service. When we become aware of suspected CSAM, we take appropriate action consistent with applicable law and our published standards, including removing or disabling access to prohibited content where appropriate.

We do not ask users to send suspected CSAM to us as an attachment. Reports should identify where the concern appears so authorised personnel can review it using appropriate procedures.

Compliance with child-safety laws

We intend to comply with applicable child-safety laws, regulations and lawful reporting obligations. Where confirmed or reportable child sexual abuse material or exploitation is identified, we will follow applicable requirements for preservation, removal, cooperation and reporting to the relevant competent authority.

Nothing in these standards limits our ability to cooperate with lawful requests from competent authorities or to take urgent protective action where reasonably necessary.

Protecting minors using our services

Some IE(I) educational programmes and events may involve students. Users must communicate professionally and must not use member, event, messaging, gallery or community features to target or exploit minors.

Where an activity involves minors, organisers and administrators should apply appropriate supervision, consent and access controls required for that programme and applicable law.

Changes to these standards

These standards may be updated when our platform features, moderation procedures, legal obligations or child-safety requirements change. The current version will remain publicly available at this URL with its effective date.
